ATI & PPA: MAKING INTERISLAND TRAVEL MORE CONVENIENT FOR EVERYONE VIA BATANGAS PORT
In cooperation with the Philippine Ports Authority, ATI Batangas has opened today, 30 October 2024, the initial segment of the new Pedestrian Gate of Batangas Port along the Western Nautical Highway for a safer and more seamless flow of outbound and inbound passengers, especially during this peak travel season.
This is directly connected to the Batangas Passenger Terminal Building through a concrete and covered walkway, providing greater accessibility and mobility to passengers regardless of prevailing weather conditions.
Upon completion, the new pedestrian gate will be complemented with a designated lay-by for public and private vehicles for quicker drop-off and pick-up of passengers.
Transport authorities and local law enforcement units are working together to maintain order and safety in the facility’s periphery for a more secure and systematic flow of passengers and vehicles.
